Peter Lewinton was born in the US but was educated in England. He works in the digital sector and is particularly interested in the creation, distribution and protection of digital rights both for individuals and companies (often in sport). He lives in a village in Oxfordshire with his wife, son and dog.
Having graduated in Law from Oxford University, he is a Professional Member of the British Computer Society and has a range of IP and data protection qualifications. In 2015, following in the wake of Lord Byron, he completed the swim from Europe to Asia from Eceabat to Canakkale to mark the centenary of Gallipolli and raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
